ETHICAL MANUFACTURING
Environmentally Conscious // Vegan Materials // Responsible Manufacturing
We are always being mindful of those who work for us and their families.
HOPE & HARVEST manufacture both locally and via fair-trade agreements with ethical business practices with off-shore manufacturers. The well being of our workers is extremely important to us, and the conditions in which our clothing is manufactured is always monitored and kept to high standards of working environments. Our off-shore companies that we work with are small factories, with under 40 staff members who are mostly family. We are proud to support these businesses and communities abroad. These companies also hold SA8000 accreditations.
All of the H&H patterning, grading, sampling, fit and sizing are done in our local studios in Ballarat, Melbourne and the Gold Coast. Our fabrics are ethically crafted, and cruelty free. We use organic cottons and reconstructed cellulose fibres such as Modal. We maintain a conscious mind and responsible craftsmanship to keep our environmental footprint low. We refuse to use materials or processes that could harm our workers, the environment, or animals during our manufacturing processes.
We support our local communities by employing local people with exceptional skills, to bring the high quality garments that HOPE & HARVEST are known for, to our customers again and again.
When you purchase an H&H garment, you can rest easy knowing that your garment has been consciously created, and with zero negative impact. Our pieces celebrate fashion for all of the right reasons.
